Spiritual LifeSt. Mark's Lutheran School provides a balance of faith and learning. In addition to classes that challenge our students to perform to their abilities and develop their God-given talents, this is a place where morals and values are stressed. St. Mark's Lutheran is a welcoming environment, open to children and families of all faiths.
In the classrooms, every day begins with a devotion, prayer, and focus on Jesus time. Prayer continues at lunchtime and throughout the day. Student Council has a Caring Ministries leader that helps lead our chapel ministries as well as determining where our chapel offerings will go. Community service is an important component in developing a strong moral character. Each year St. Mark’s students are involved in school-sponsored charity events. 7th and 8th graders serve 20 hours each year for special projects with their families. Lower grade students have their servant hour goals established for service to their communities through a variety of Christian service projects such as food drives, Christmas toy drives, and specialty clothing drives. Chapel Time with Pastor FenkerStudents from the 4's preschool classes to grade 8 have the opportunity and privilege to come together to worship at least once a week as a school.
Parents and family members are always welcome to join us. Pastor Fenker leads the worship with various staff and classes taking turns leading the lesson. |
