Standardized Dress Policy for all Students K-8

The Dress Code of St Mark's Lutheran School emphasizes modesty, neatness, and cleanliness. Grooming should reflect good taste at all times. Hairstyle and make-up should be kept simple. Hair should be clean, well groomed, and out of the eyes. Boys’ hair should not exceed collar length. Boys shall be clean-shaven; facial hair is not permitted. Facial piercings are not permitted.

Jesus declared in John 14:19, “Because I live, you will live also.” We have a bright future because Christ lived, died, and rose again for our justification. Because we rejoice in our Christian hope of heaven, emblems such as skulls or any other depiction of doom, death, or Goth-like traits are prohibited at St Mark's Lutheran School.

All final decisions are at the sole discretion of the administration of St Mark's Lutheran School.

Maximum Classroom sizes are as follows:

Preschool – 2
10 with full time teacher and full time aide
Preschool – 3
15 with full time teacher and full time aide
Preschool – 4
18 with full time teacher and full time aide
Pre-K
18 with full time teacher and full time aide
Kindergarten
15 with a waiting list up to 10 then class is divided
Grades 1-8
18 per classroom
