Whenever there is a birth, hospitalization, wedding, perplexing problem, or death, Pastor Fenker stands ready to serve our members in Christ’s stead by providing Baptism, Wedding, and Funeral Services, as well as counseling, prayer, and support using God’s Word.

Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Graduate of St. Paul Lutheran Elementary School, Mariemont High School, the University of Cincinnati, and Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Degrees: Bachelor of Science in Biology, Master of Divinity.

Academic honors include membership in National Honor Society and Phi Beta Kappa.

Studied at Concordia Teachers College, Chicago in the Director of Christian Education program.

Married Shirley Hoffman of Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Shirley attended Concordia University Ann Arbor and Concordia Teachers College, Chicago, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and certification as a Director of Christian Education.

Served for 20 years as the pastor of several congregations in Wisconsin.

Served as an Adjunct Professor of Theology at Concordia University Wisconsin, School of Adult and Continuing Education.

In 2002 called to be Senior Pastor at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Milford, Ohio.

Hobbies include coin collecting and home remodeling projects.

Enthusiastic fan of the Green Bay Packers and Cincinnati Reds since childhood.
The Lord blessed Pastor Fenker and Shirley with two children, Aaron and Naomi, both born in Neenah, Wisconsin.

Aaron, a graduate of Concordia University Chicago, is finishing his fourth year at Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne and will receive his Master of Divinity Degree in 2012.

Naomi, a graduate of Concordia University Ann Arbor, is studying for her Master of English Degree and is an Adjunct Professor at Indiana University/Purdue University in Fort Wayne. She is married to Curt Stephens who is a second year seminary student at Concordia Theological Seminary.
Pastor Fenker has served the church-at-large in the following capacities -- Zone Advisor to The Lutheran Women's Missionary League; Zone Advisor to The Lutheran Laymen's League; Pastoral Presenter at District Youth Retreats and Circuit Forum; Officer for Circuit Pastors Conferences; Circuit fundraising chairman for the District Camp LuWiSoMo; District Floor Committee.
Empowered by the Holy Spirit, he desires to serve faithfully the Lord Jesus, to care for His people with a pastoral heart in all areas of the ministry, and to fulfill His Great Commission.
